Bank Robbery Scheme Targets Teller and Children |

On Monday Dec. 1, 2008, police say an innocent bank manager fell victim to a bank robbery scheme that began in her own home.
Cops say an unknown Latino man in his early 20's entered the woman's home in the New Salem area of Union County, N.C. at about 5:45 a.m.
The man tied up her 15-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son, telling them that his accomplices would be watching them from afar, according to police.
Then, at about 9 a.m. he and another man took their mother in her SUV to the First Citizens Bank in Indian Trail, N.C. where she works.
Cops say she told co-workers at the bank that the man were holding her children hostage and to do what the men asked.
The men left with cash and returned the woman to her home, according to police.
Cops say she and her children were unharmed and her SUV was found abandoned nearby.
Now, police need your help to find the men who did this.
One suspect is described as a Latino man in his early 20's who witnesses say spoke with a northern accent. He's between 5'7" and 5'9", about 160 lbs. with a thin build.
Cops say he was wearing a black sweater, black pants and a black toboggan.
Police do not have a good description of the second suspect.
