Accused Rapist On The Run From Feds In Illinois |

In the early morning hours of April 3, 2006, FBI agents say Aldo Alba is suspected of committing a horrific crime against a defenseless woman on Chicago's South West Side.
The 69-year-old woman's life has never been the same.
After hearing a loud 'thump' in her basement around 6 a.m., the recently-widowed woman got up to inspect the noise, but found nothing out of the ordinary. Before returning to sleep, she went to feed her cats, suspecting all was well within the confines of her home.
All the while, nothing had alerted her to the danger she was in.
A short time later, the woman awoke to a disturbing sight: a man, who cops believe to be Aldo Alba, was standing over her bed with a knife in his hand, ready to attack.
When she noticed him standing there, cops say Alba grabbed the victim by her hair and demanded to know where her money was hidden.
During the ensuing struggle, FBI Special Agent Tim Bacha says Alba cut her on the hand while searching for jewelry and other valuables. He took her ATM card, and forcefully demanded her PIN number before violently raping her in her own bedroom.
When cops arrived, they learned that in addition to raping the victim, her debit card wasn't the only item Alba allegedly stole. According to authorities, Alba also got away with her deceased husband's rings and jewelry, as well as the victim's car, which was later recovered by police. |

Agent Bacha tells AMW that while Alba hasn't done any hard prison time, he has been arrested for drug possession in the past, though never been convicted.
Alba is known to stay in homeless shelters, seeking temporary housing and free meals.
He has family both in Mexico and throughout the United States. Alba may be found hiding out with them in Texas, in Pomona, Calif., or even back in Chicago.
The only significant markings Alba's known to have is a tattoo of the name "ENRIQUE" on his right forearm in Old English lettering, with flames above it.
He is known to change his appearance and may even shave his head to avoid detection.
