Two Friends Gunned Down In Parking Lot |
|
| |
In the early morning hours of September 22, 2007 police say Jonas Joseph and Enold Antenor were inside the Pepper's Cafe nightclub, located on North University Drive in Sunrise, Fla.
It was the same nightclub where Stepha Henry was last seen before her murder.
While inside the club, Jonas and Enold were involved in a verbal altercation with a man named Jermaine Gray.
Police say that when the club closed around 4:00 a.m., Jonas and Enold left the club and began walking across the parking lot to their car.
Police believe Gray, 24, was waiting for the two men when they exited the club. Police say Gray approached the two men, then shot them both multiple times.
According to police, the victims, Jonas and Enold, did not know Gray. Police believe the verbal altercation in the bar is what led to the shooting outside.
Police tell AMW that Jonas and Enold died at the scene, but witnesses were able to give investigators information about the shooter, which led to authorities issuing a warrant for Gray's arrest. |

Alleged Shooter On The Run |
|
| |
When police went to arrest Gray, they learned that he had fled to North Carolina.
Police say the longer Gray remains on the run, the greater the potential for further violence.
Police need the public's help to locate Gray, and to help both Jonas's and Enold's families find justice. |
