  Case Story
85-Year-Old Choked Until Unconscious On Brooklyn, N.Y. Elevator
A heartless thug in Brooklyn, N.Y. has assaulted yet another elderly woman on August 14, 2008. The mugger’s most recent victim -- 85-year-old grandmother Lillian France -- was fiercely assaulted in an apartment building on Washington Ave., in Brooklyn, after visiting a nearby bank. The mugger cleverly anticipated his victim’s destination, so as not to appear conspicuous to the elderly woman. When she entered the apartment building around 7 p.m., the Granny-Mugger appeared to be graciously holding the elevator for her; however, once the elevator began its ascent, the mugger ruthlessly choked his victim until she was unconscious. Afterwards, the Associated Press reports, the mugger threw her to the ground, quickly looting $900 in cash and her cane, and fled the scene unhindered.

  Brooklyn Granny-Mugger Still At Large
The Granny Mugger has assaulted and robbed what cops say is his twelfth victim. According to the AP, cops say the perpetrator focuses his attacks on the elderly, more specifically elderly women who have recently withdrawn cash. Out of the thug's twelve victims, Police say the only trend breaking habits occurred when the Granny-Mugger attacked a 54-year-old woman, as well as a 67-year-old man. Aside from these two aforementioned incidents, every victim is a defenseless elderly woman. The perpetrator is believed to followed his victims into their apartment buildings, and join them on the elevator where his is unhindered in his assault. Once on the elevator, the mugger viciously attacks his prey, usually beating them until they are unconscious, then robbing them of any valuables and the cash they recently withdrew

Be On The Lookout In Brooklyn
The Granny-Mugger, a young to middle-aged African-American male, is at large -- and dangerous. NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly says the department suspects that the mugger has attacked as many as 12 victims in the Kensington and Flatbush areas of Brooklyn, and the 210-lb. fugitive should be considered extremely dangerous. Moreover, cops have offered a $12,000 reward for any information leading to the perpetrator’s capture.
