When 26-year-old Darryl Layne Norris started slimming down, nobody suspected that his motives for getting skinny might be sinister.
On Saturday, July 19, 2008, his intentions became clear. Norris lost 30 lbs, making him able to slip through a one-foot air vent and out of jail.
Now, cops are intensively searching for him. They say Norris is very dangerous, and was in jail facing a capital murder charge.
Norris has multiple tattoos on his body, including one behind his neck that reads "Mr. Norris."
Cops have started their search in the Houston area, but haven't ruled out taking their hunt nationwide. |
