My Story by Karen Ross |

My name is Karen Grampa Ross. My son, Larry Grampa, was killed February 15, 2008 by a hit and run driver. Florida Highway Patrol have a car that fits the description but are now not sure if it is the correct car. Each day is so hard to face. Either someone or something reminds me of my son.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Larry Grampa was traveling southbound on I-95 when he was involved in an accident with another vehicle. As a result of the collision, he was ejected from his motorcycle.
Cops say that while he trying to get out of the roadway, he was struck and killed by a 2001 half white Volkswagen Passat. Police say that the driver of the Passat did not stop after hitting Larry, and fled the scene. Police believe the car was damaged on the right front panel and front end of the car as a result of the collision.
It has been 3 weeks and I love and miss my son so much. I just want this person brought to justice and I need help to find him.
My son Larry was a wonderful person, so full of love and life. He loved being with his family and friends. He was an avid diver and loved taking weekends and holidays with his friends - cruises, skiing, diving, anything for fun.
He had an amazing smile that never strayed from his face. Wherever he went, he made friends, lasting friends. I was overwhelmed at his memorial service. There were over 500 people who came to say goodbye to an amazing person. My heart is truly broken. Please, I beg that you can help me. |
