Teenager Runs From Owensboro, Ky. Group Home |

Police say in April 2008, 17-year-old Summer Dawn Gish, along with fellow teen Ariel Zellers, ran away from a group home in Owensboro, Ky.
Both teens are residents at the Mary Kendall Group Home, and while Ariel has returned home safely, the community is still waiting for Summer to come back. According to police, Ariel and Summer split up before leaving Owensboro. Cops say that Ariel has no idea as to where Summer may be headed.
Summer, originally from Henderson, Ky., attended school at The Mary Kendall Group Home before she fled. Police say she was last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket with blue jeans. She has a scar on the lower right side of her abdomen from an appendectomy.
As to her whereabouts, Cops are still investigating leads, and believe that she may return to her mother, who lives in Henderson. Police tell AMW that her mother believes Summer is somewhere between Louisville and Henderson, Ky. |
