Biting Back Against A Fugitive |
|
| |
Homemade treadmills. Steroids. Cages. These are just some of the tools of the trade used by the perpetrators of a widespread dog fighting operation in Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan.
Federal agents and Ohio law enforcement officials have tried to bring the perpetrators of this cruel sport to justice with an undercover investigation known as "Operation Bite Back." So far, over sixty suspects have been rounded up and indicted thanks to this far-reaching operation.
Ohio cops say Darryl Eugene Jones is wanted for his role in two dog fighting incidents. He's been indicted on charges of knowingly promoting, engaging in, or being employed at a dog fight.
He's described as a 39-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes who stands 5' 7" tall and weighs about 225 lbs. |

The Disgrace Of Dog Fighting |
|
| |
In these dog fighting rings, animals are pitted against each other in abandoned houses, inner-city warehouses, and empty barns. As if this weren't bad enough, cops say individuals often finance this so-called sport with other criminal activity including peddling drugs, stealing cars, and gambling.
Cops also say many of these dog fighting enthusiasts have exposed children to this canine cruelty, adding to the horrific nature of their crime. |
