Repeat Offender |

Edmund Spillman, a convicted sexual predator, hasn't checked in with his parole officer or officially registered as a sex offender for several years now. U.S. Marshals are not taking any chances because they fear the repeat offender will strike again.
In the early 90s, Ohio authorities were searching for Spillman. They said the fugitive had raped a young woman and assaulted her infant child. In 1991, AMW profiled Spillman and within days he was arrested in Texas.
In 1992, Spillman was convicted of sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and burglary for the 1990 assault on the young mother and sentenced to six to 20 years. |

After more than 12 years in custody, Spillman was released from prison in May 2004. He was told to check in with the Ohio Parole Board and register as a sex offender.
Cops say initially Spillman followed the rules, but on July 24, 2005 he walked away from his halfway house in Mansfield, Ohio called the Volunteers of America house. U.S. Marshals say he hasn't checked in with authorities since. |
