Cops Seek Two Gunmen In Vegas Home Invasion |

Las Vegas police are currently investigating a home invasion that has left a woman wounded and one of her attackers dead. Cops say that an unidentified woman came home around 5 am and was immediately accosted by three black males. Her husband, hearing the commotion downstairs, grabbed a gun and came to her aid. A shootout began with the three armed assailants. Cops tell AMW that bullets flew throughout the neighborhood and the scene was chaotic.
Authorities say that the woman was shot multiple times and one of the suspects was found dead in the couple's backyard. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is recovering nicely.
Cops in Vegas are on the lookout for the two suspects who got away in a 2001 or later, red 4-door Dodge or Plymouth Neon with tinted windows. Police believe that the men responsible were both adult black males. One was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants while the other suspect was wearing a red, long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and a red bandana.
AMW has also learned from police that this home invasion could possibly be linked to another Las Vegas home robbery that occurred just hours before. Authorities are currently working to see if that link exists. Las Vegas police are asking for the public's assistance in helping to identify the two suspects on the loose. |
