  Case Story
Fun Holiday Turns Into Deadly Night
On Memorial Day 2007, in Euclid, Ohio -- the city where the Tommy gun was invented -- Marcel Bell and two of his friends wanted to take the day to enjoy each other's company in . They went picnicking during the day, and returned to one of his friend's apartment buildings to enjoy the night.  Cops say that they hung out in the parking lot, drinking beer and laughing. While outside, the boys were approached by "Montana,"  a friendly acquaintence with whom they sometimes hung out.  That night, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, and investigators say all four boys drank together in the parking lot.  But, they say, Marcel Bell made a fatal flaw that night -- he bragged about the $300 he had in his wallet. Later that night, detectives say Marcel and his two friends decided that they wanted to go out to try to meet some girls.  While one of the boys went into his apartment, cops say Marcel and the other guy got into the car, but Montana wouldn't go away.  Instead, Euclid police say he came up next to Marcel and demanded that he handed over the $300 he had bragged about earlier. Invetsigators say Marcel refused and Montana shot him twice -- one slug pierced his wrist and another, his neck.  Next, police say Marcel and his friend ran out of the car and down the hill -- and that was where Marcel passed out and took his last breath.  Investigators say Montana escaped in the other direction, never getting the money, or anything else. When police arrived on the scene, they found the two men clutching and hugging their friend Marcel's body.  But it was too late -- Marcel was dead.  The two friends were immediately able to tell cops who allegedly killed their friend: some guy named "Montana."  Now cops just had one problem -- who was Montana?

  The Real Montana
Cleveland-area cops say Tonio "Montana" Hudson had just moved to Ohio in March of 2007 from Florida.  He didn't tell many people his true identity, so cops say acquaintances knew little about him.  All friends told investigators that they knew about Montana was where he lived and that he liked to act like a gangster.  By the time police had figured out that Tonio Hudson was Montana's real identity, they say he had already left the area.

  Tonio "Montana" On The Move
Detectives say that Hudson is a loner and likes to portray himself as a tough gangster.  Hudson allegedly smokes pot and likes to drink.  Police say word on the street is that Hudson moved to Ohio because he was fleeing Florida -- Hudson allegedly claimed he had killed someone there.  Cops have been unable to substantiate this claim, and police say that now he may be bragging about killing Marcel. After Hudson allegedly killed Marcel Bell, police say that he took off to Atlanta, Georgia.  They think that someone is helping him out, because he doesn't have any money of his own and doesn't have many job skills.  Cops also think that Hudson left Georgia and may have gone to Miami or South Florida.
