Update: Imeson Tells War Stories |
|
| |
AMW producers on the ground in Ontario, Canada have been able to uncover startling details about Jesse Imeson.
Ontario Provincial Police have tied 22-year-old Imeson to three murders since mid-July, he has been on the run ever since.
Police have discovered that not only has Imeson left behind a trail of blood, he has also left behind a web of lies and a troubled childhood.
Imeson was 11 years old when his father died. Unable to care for her son, Imeson's mom placed her son in foster care. For the next several years Imeson moved between different foster homes, never able to call one place home.
As a young adult, Imeson bragged of being an American war hero, even though police say there is no evidence that he served in the Armed Forces. According to police, Imeson has gone so far as to tell detailed stories about killing a young boy in Afghanistan who he thought was a suicide bomber. Additionally, Imeson has the word "army" tattooed on his neck in Mandarin.
The massive manhunt for Imeson first began when a missing man was found murdered -- strangled to death-- in Imeson's rented room at a boarding house in Windsor. Cops say that 26-year-old Carlos Rivera, a bartender and student, was found in Imeson's residence on Thursday, July 19, 2007.
Windsor Police say that Imeson fled the murder scene in Carlos' stolen car. The car was later found in the Grand Bend area of Ontario.
On Saturday, cops tracked Imeson to Stephen Township, a rural farming community about two hours north of Windsor, after a tip from a citizen. Investigators called off the search when Imeson was not found by early Sunday morning. |

Double Murder At Farm House |
|
| |
On Monday, July 23, cops responded to a believed break-in in Stephen Township. What they found when they got there was a gruesome murder scene. Police found 72-year-old farmer Bill Regier and his 73-year-old wife Helen shot to death.
Cops say it is once again the work of accused killer Imeson. They have charged Imeson with the Regiers' murders and say the fugitive is armed and dangerous.
The O.P.P. says that two cars missing from the area of the Regiers' homicides have been recovered. On Wednesday, July 25, O.P.P. officers tracked down the Reiger's neighbors 2005 green Ford Taurus. The Reigers' 2006 silver pickup was discovered on July 30th in the town of Renfrew, in the province of Ontario in a heavily wooded area. The truck was also found next to the Ottawa River. Authorities are not ruling out that Imeson might have swam across the river and could now be hiding in Quebec. One thing police do know is that Imeson is not used to being in a heavily wooded areas and may not be able to survive the elements for very long. |

Imeson is a 6'1" tall, caucasian male with several distinctive tattoos. Along with the tattoo on his neck, Imeson has his last name tattooed on his stomach. Cops hope these tattooes help identify him quickly.
