  Case Story
  Depressed And Elderly Mother
Dora Maria Villarrea-Tolx had just moved in with her daughter Vikki.  She had moved to Indiana all the way from Florida.  Dora had been widowed for several years, and now she had just lost her long-time companion. Dora was in extreme mourning over the loss of her friend, and she became depressed, dazed, and somewhat withdrawn.  Late on the night of June 2, 2007, Dora was sitting on her porch.  At about 11:00 p.m. Vikki came out to say she was going to bed, but Dora wanted to stay on the porch.  Just two hours later, Vikki woke up ... and in those two hours her mother had vanished.  Vikki searched the whole house, but couldn't find her mother.

  Nowhere To Be Found
The cops have searched the area, but there is just no trace of Dora Maria Villarea-Tolx.  Cops and family are worried for her safety, as they think she is in the early stages of dementia.  Her family also says that it is uncharacteristic of her not to call her family and friends daily, let alone for such a long period of time.  Dora left behind her purse, identification, and all of her money. When Dora disappeared she was longing for her life in Florida.  Family members think she may have left, trying to go back to Florida.  They also think she may be going there to visit the grave of her companion, at Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  But police are worried about the whereabouts of Dora.  They've had a police dog track her scent from her home along a road.  However, at one point, her scent just stops, and police worry that she may have been picked up by a motorist.
