  Case Story
  "Robbery In Progress"
On Saturday, November 18, 2006, police received a report of a robbery in the Village of Sloatsburg, N.Y. A husband and wife were frantic claiming they needed to be rushed to the hospital and all of their money had been taken. They believed their attackers had already fled the scene but the couple feared they'd come back to finish them off. Luckily, the worst was over for the husband and wife when police arrived. They were rushed to the emergency room and were able to tell police their story of what happened that night out of harms way.

  Suspects Arrested, Then Released
The victims claim as they were entering their home, three Hispanic males wearing masks approached them. The woman told police she was grabbed and a knife was put to her face. She says her husband was held at gunpoint by a second suspect and another kicked him in the groin. They told police their mouths were tightly sealed with duct tape so they wouldn't scream. The wife says she feared the men would stab her so she put up her hand in protection. When she did that, the knife went straight into her hand and punctured a nerve. Yet, he blood that ran down her arm didn't scare them away. The suspects were after money and demanded the cash in Spanish. When they finally got what they came for police learned that they had taken a total of $1,200 from the husband and wife.
