Connecticut Teenager Missing |

Enfield, Connecticut police are searching for 13-year-old Stephanos Rodriguez who was last seen on May 19. According to officials, Stephanos was seen by his mother around 3:30 pm, but hasn't been heard from since.
Days after Stephanos disappeared, police received a tip that Stephanos disappearance may not be the result of foul play. A young person interviewed by police said he and Stephanos were on the river in a canoe when Stephanos fell overboard into the water. Police recovered the canoe two days after Stephanos was last seen, and it has been confiscated by police as potential evidence. Investigators are taking the new information very seriously and have no reason to doubt the young witness' account. State police dive teams are set to resume a search of the Connecticut River. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Enfield police stepped up their efforts to find Stephanos by bringing in the FBI's Child Abduction Rapid Response Team, or CART to aide in the search.
Stephanos is five feet tall and weighs 106 pounds. He has blonde hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers. |
