Family Desperate to See Child Return Home |

On August 15, 2006, Shanae Peterson was supposed to report back to her father's house. But she never showed up. And it's been months since Shanae has been missing. But Shanae's abduction has a strange twist.
Cops say they have a good idea who took Shanae -- her own mother. While Shanae is in the care of her own flesh and blood, cops are still concerned. Detectives say Shanae's mother, Eileen Sharp was supposed to return Shanae to her father's home on Aug. 15. That never happened.
Shanae's father, Layne Peterson, has custody of Shanae and his heart is broken. He hasn't spoken with his daughter since she disappeared and he is concerned for her safety. Layne recently purchased a new home and has a room set-up for Shanae with birthday presents and Christmas gifts in hopes that she will soon return.
Eileen Sharp is now wanted for the parental abduction of Shanae. After disappearing, cops also charged Sharp with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Sharp is believed to be traveling with her husband Perry Dean Sharp and he too faces charges for aiding and abetting.
The Sharps as well as Shanae could be in a number of states. The family has ties to Arizona, Oregon, Montana and South Dakota.
When she disappeared, Shanae had red hair, brown eyes, weighed 70 lbs. and stood 4' tall.
Eileen is a former US Postal Service employee. She is 5'6", weighs 160 lbs., has brown hair and brown eyes. She also enjoys suntanning and could be dark complected at times.
Perry Sharp is 5'8", weighs 200 lbs., has thinning brown hair and blue eyes. |
