Pa. State Police have issued an AMBER Alert for Alexis Roadside, a 4-year-old girl who cops say was abducted by her mother, 41-year-old Veronica Roadside.
According to police, Alexis was with her mother on Wednesday, April 11, 2007. That night, Veronica reportedly told her husband, Robert Roadside, that she was taking Alexis to visit relatives in Newtown Square, Pa. But cops say neither Veronica or Alexis returned. |

The day after Alexis went missing, cops learned that Veronica had taken Alexis to a hair salon in the Gateway Shopping Center, located in Tredyffrin Township, and requested that her hair be cut short and dyed black. The strange request concerned the hairdresser, who reported the incident to police.
Cops are after Veronica for interfering with custody, and concealing the child's whereabouts. At the time of the alleged abduction, cops say Veronica was driving a white 1993 Buick LeSabre four-door sedan with Pennsylvania license plate GKK-4359. |
