Sheriff Department Employee Gunned Down in Home |

Police say Debbie Clement, 52, had worked at the East Carroll Parish Detention Center for 6 1/2 years. Co-workers say Mrs. Clement was very nice, very kind and very well liked in the office. That's why on Friday, March 9, 2007, everyone was shocked when a 911 call came in from Mrs. Clement's home.
Police say Mrs. Clement's husband had returned home and found his wife's body. Police say she had a gun shot wound to the head. Police have no idea who would want to harm Mrs. Clement. Police say they are working several leads, but have no suspect at this time. |
