9-Year-Old Girl And Her Mother Go Missing |
|
| |
Police in Md. are concerned for the welfare of 9-year-old Cierra Clark, who went missing with her mother, 36-year-old Tammy Clark, on November 13, 2006.
According to police, Tammy and her husband had recently separated, and she and Cierra moved in with Tammy's aunt in Edgewood, Md. On Nov. 13, cops say Tammy called her husband in North Carolina to ask that he come pick up Cierra.
Cops say Tammy, who has bi-polar disorder, told her husband she could no longer handle taking care of their child. But police say her husband could not get a hold of Tammy or Cierra after that phone call -- and Tammy's aunt says the last time she saw either of them was the night before Tammy made the call. |

Credit Card Transaction Trail Ends In N.C. |
|
| |
Police tracked Tammy's credit card use and learned she had made transactions in Charlottesville, Va., Carnesville, N.C., and Mocksville, N.C. According to police, Tammy's card maxed out in Mocksville -- the same day they disappeared. Cops say Tammy and Cierra may be traveling in a champagne colored Plymouth Voyager minivan with North Carolina plate number VVK1399.
No one is sure why Tammy and Cierra left, and cops are extremely concerned for their safety. They urge anyone with information about Tammy or Cierra's whereabouts to come forward and help bring them home. |
