  Case Story
  My Story-- By Mary Isaac
These two men will never know what they took from us. In a blink of an eye he was gone "forever." Forever is such a long time never to see my beloved Cord again. The young man they took from us, was a son, father, brother, and a friend to many. On the evening of July 7, 2005, 36-year-old Cord Linder was riding his bike to a friend's house in Oklahoma City. Police believe Cord, also known as Corey, was riding his bike on South Robinson Avenue. Cops believe Corey was cut off by a small, light blue pickup truck. An argument ensued and while Corey was standing in front of Mariscos Puerto Vallarta restaurant on the 3300 block of South Robinson Avenue, cops say the man in the passenger seat pulled out a gun and fired twice. One bullet struck the window of Mariscos Puerto Vallarta restaurant. The other hit Corey in the chest. According to police reports, Corey walked a few steps and then died on the street.

  Few Clues, Big Hopes
There are no words to describe the pain I go through everyday. This cold blooded death has taken this family down an ugly path. Since that summer day, cops have had a hard time convincing people to come forward. Based on a witness statement, cops believe a gray mini van was in the area when the shooting occurred, and they would like to speak to the people in the car, who may have witnessed the crime. They also say that many Hispanics live in that neighborhood and they believe that the suspects may be Hispanic. That's why flyers were also distributed in Spanish, hoping that members of the Hispanic community will cooperate with the investigation.

  A Mother's Plea For Justice
These men have a blatant disregard for life and need to be taken off the street soon! My son did not know these men, he was not a gang member, nor did he sell drugs. I do not know what could have caused these men to do this to my son. While Corey's family tries to find closure, they continue to mourn the loss of a man they say loved animals, working on his vehicles, and who had a very close and special relationship with his mother, Mary.  Corey also left behind a brother, step-father, and two sons, who all want justice for him just as much as his mother does. His case has grown cold, and there are almost no leads. We are running out of options. Your show is our last hope.
