  Case Story
Mother And Daughter Killed, Father And Son Survive
Cops say that around 2:20 a.m.  on Sept. 25, 2006, two men broke into a family's house, walked up to the bedroom where Tommy Jackson III, his girlfriend Latoya Tucker, their one-year-old son Tommy Jackson IV and Latoya's daughter seven-year old, Talaya Tucker, were peacefully sleeping, and started spraying the room with gunfire--all four of them were shot. Latoya Tucker and her daughter Talaya died at the scene. But Tommy Jackson and the couple's son, Tommy, were taken to the hospital and survived.  Other family members were at the house at the time of the crime, but were unharmed. Now, they are still trying to understand why the family was targeted.

Life Cut Short For Dedicated Mother
Life was busy for 28-year-old Latoya Tucker. She attended college - and was two courses shy of a degree. She was in the National Guard, and helped with hurricane Katrina relief. In addition to all these activities, she was a dedicated mother. That tragic Sept. 25, both mother and daughter lost their lives in a senseless crime. But cops won't stop until they find the two people responsible for killing Latoya and Talaya. They have few clues to solve the murder, but believe that the shooting was premeditated and not part of a home invasion robbery. Cops say the two men may still be in Oklahoma and that they fled the scene in a four door white vehicle.
