Cops: Bus Driver Abducts, Rapes Special Needs Student |

A Massachusetts family thought their daughter was being driven safely to school each morning. But cops say, one such ride turned into a nightmare for an innocent 13-year-old girl.
On December 16, 1998, Henry Gonzalez-Sanchez was supposed to be doing his job and picking up various students to take them to school. At 7:20 a.m., Gonzalez picked up a 13-year-old special needs student as part of his regular route. But, with only one passenger, cops say Gonzalez decided to take a detour.
When the young teen realized that Gonzalez wasn't going the right way, cops say she asked why they weren't headed to her school. According to officials, Gonzalez told the girl that they were going to his mother's house because he forgot something. But, cops say Gonzalez really had another plan. |

Once at the house, cops say Gonzalez lured the young girl inside where he repeatedly raped her. According to police, Gonzalez told the teen not to tell anyone about what happened and then drove her to a local mall where he dropped her off.
Alone and scared, the young teen wandered to her school and reported the rape. The next morning Henry Gonzalez-Sanchez was arrested, but then bailed out and disappeared. |
