Suspicious Circumstances In Woman's Disappearance |

Police in New Castle County, Del. are searching for 40-year-old Tamela Gardner and the man with whom she was last seen after she mysteriously disappeared on July 9, 2006.
Cops say that Saturday night, Tamela met a man she'd known for about one week at "The Goodshot Bar" in Newark -- 41-year-old Gabriel Gabrielli. Cops say the pair drove separately to the bar, but left together later that night. Around 1:30 a.m., police say Tamela and Gabrielli arrived at Tamela's house in Wilmington -- just a few miles away from the bar. That's the last time either of them were seen.
When Tamela's two children hadn't heard from her in a few days, they began to worry, and called police. When detectives arrived at Tamela's house, no one was home, and her van, a red 2000 Ford Windstar with Del. plate PC188864, was nowhere to be found. Inside, other evidence they recovered, such as Tamela's untouched purse, led police to believe there was foul play involved, and that she hadn't left her home willingly.

Police Name Gabrielli A Person Of Interest |

According to police, Tamela had a boyfriend prior to meeting Gabrielli. But when Tamela decided to break it off, he allegedly began threatening her. Scared for her safety, Tamela reportedly filed a restraining order against him. Police are not ruling him out as a possible suspect.
Instead, police are looking at Gabrielli as a person of interest in Tamela's suspicious disappearance. Gabrielli reportedly has a criminal record in Pennsylvania, and was the last person to see Tamela. Police say his car was still parked outside of The Goodshot Bar after Tamela was reported missing. Investigators processed the car and say they found nothing suggesting its involvement in Tamela's mysterious disappearance, but they believe her car could hold clues -- or even the answer to this puzzling case. |
