Cops: Underground Room Built Specifically For Sexual Assault |

The search is on in South Carolina for convicted sex offender Kenneth Glenn Hinson, the man cops say raped two 17-year-old girls in a secret chamber hidden beneath his shed.
Hinson allegedly abducted the two girls from the mobile home in which they were sleeping on the night of Monday, March 13, 2006. Police say Hinson quietly abducted the girls one at a time, bringing them to his shed, leading them through a trapdoor in the floor. The trapdoor, which police say is undetectable without knowing it's there, lead to a hidden 5-by 8-foot room. Police say the dungeon-like room was where Hinson bound the girls with duct tape and sexually assaulted them one at a time.
Police say after he finished the assaults, he left the girls bound in the underground room. According to cops, the teens managed to free themselves, open the trapdoor, and escape. |

Police say this isn't the first time the disgusting alleged rapist has struck. According to police, Hinson was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a 12-year-old in 1991.
Now, Hinson is wanted on kidnapping and sexual assault charges -- and cops say they won't give up until the sex offender is behind bars. |
