Cops Looking For Unknown Suspect |
|
| |
Alameda Police Department believes that on February 22, 2006, an unknown white male harassed a number of local children. They report that the first two victims were approached separately on their way home from school and in different locations between the hours of 2pm and 4:30pm.
Cops say the suspect offered the first child a ride home which was refused. He then circled the block repeatedly before asking a second time. The child then fled to a nearby mall. The second victim was offered candy and asked to approach the suspect's car. The child was then followed for a short time by the suspect who eventually gave up and drove away.
Soon after beginning the investigation, police reported that the same man may have contacted two additional children near a Burger King four hours after and a block away from where the first child was approached.
Cops describe the man wanted for questioning as a white male in his 50's, heavy set, with light brown or hazel eyes, and brownish-gray hair that is thinning on top. In addition to having some beard or stubble growth, cops say the man wore a small earring in his right ear and a ring on his right hand. |
