Pennsylvania Mom Murdered, AMBER Alert Issued |

Pennsylvania authorities have issued an AMBER alert for 10-month-old Rahsaan Coles after her mother was found shot to death on January 13, 2006. Police responded to a frantic 911 call and when paramedics and officers arrived on scene, authorities found 24-year-old Jamie Coles lying in a pool of blood.
Officials soon found that Rahsaan, Jamie's daughter, was missing. Upon further investigation, police learned that Jamie and Rahsaan had been staying at a relative's home because of on-going domestic problems with Rahasaan's father, Todd Ballard.
Cops say Jamie's stepfather heard Jamie and Ballard arguing in the living room around 2:00 a.m. When he went to see what was going on, police say Jamie's stepfather heard Jamie pleading with Ballard not to shoot her baby. |

10-Month-Old Missing |

According to officials, shots were fired and when Jamie's stepfather approached Ballard, Ballard chased him up the stairs. Moments later, cops say Jamie's stepfather went back downstairs only to find Jamie shot and 10-month-old Rahsaan missing.
Rahsaan was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink shirt. She weighs 30 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Todd Ballard is a 29-year-old black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Police say Ballard is their main suspect in the murder, but he has not been charged with the crime.
