Wife of TV Legal Analyst Found Dead |

Pamela Vitale - the wife of prominent defense attorney and TV legal analyst Daniel Horowitz - was found slain in the entryway of the couple's California home. Police say Horowitz called 911 on October 15 to report that he found his wife dead in their San Francisco Bay area home. Authorities are now saying Pamela was beaten to death.
Pamela, a former high-tech marketing executive, worked at her husband's law practice, creating and managing databases. The couple had been married for 10 years. |

Daniel Horowitz - a regular television legal analyst - is also a very successful criminal defense attorney known for handling high-profile cases. Officials say Horowitz was concerned for his safety and had a gun and a surveillance camera on his property.
Horowitz was the lawyer for former Ukrainian Prime Minister Pavlo Lazarenko in a multi-count money-laudering and fraud trial. Horowitz is currently defending Susan Polk who is accused of murdering her psychologist husband in 2002. |
