Trail Gr ew Cold For Man Police Say Abducted A Teen |

Police in Cincinnati were searching for 16-year-old Ashley Snell. They say she is traveling with 52-year-old Barry Pollard- a man police say Ashley met in the church choir at Ambassador Free Will Baptist Church on Clough Pike.
Police say Pollard, a husband and father, cashed out his pension from the Clermont County water works before he and Ashley left town. Because Pollard appears to be using only cash police are having a difficult time trailing the pair.
"There's just not a trail being left,'' Detective Sgt. Scott Gaviglia said Tuesday. |

Ashley took some clothes with her, but her family says she did not take the medication she needs for what Gaviglia described as a psychological problem.
Police have charged Pollard with custodial interference - an initial charge, the detective supervisor said, until the two are found and investigators are able to talk to them about what happened.
Pollard's wife "was really pretty much in the dark over this," Gaviglia said. She and Ashley's mother, Kathy Snell, have pleaded publicly for Pollard to bring the girl home.
Pollard is believed to be driving a tan Ford extended cab pickup truck, with Ohio plates CM70JR. |
