Cops: He's A Man With No Conscience |
|
| |
US Marshals in New York say Stanley Osbourne has little respect for the law -- and even less respect for the women in his life. They say he's committed horrendous crimes against his daughter and wife, but has shown no remorse. Instead of facing his actions, he's in action -- running from his charges. |

In March 2001, cops say Osbourne raped his 16-year-old step-daughter. They say Osbourne was on the run before he could be arrested. But they say he didn't stop his disgusting behavior -- and things soon became much worse.
Five months later, cops say Osbourne decided to kill his wife, Bonita. According to police, he lured Bonita to Kings Point, New York under the pretense of going to see a marriage counselor for their problems. But cops say Osbourne had no intention of legitimately addressing their marital issues. In fact, they say the way he planned on "fixing" the problem was to murder the woman he married.
A witness told police he saw a couple arguing in the street. He noticed the man, who cops later identified as Osbourne, was holding something black in his hand that might have been a gun. The witness new trouble was brewing when the woman shouted, "call the police, he's going to kill me!" The witness called 9-1-1, but by the time police arrived, it was too late. Osbourne's wife had been severely beaten with a hand gun. She was alive, but badly injured.
Luckily, between Bonita's account and the witness', police were able to piece together what had happened. Authorities say when the couple arrived at Kings Point, Osbourne tried to cut Bonita with a razor. But Bonita fought back -- and jumped out of the car. Cops say Osbourne then attempted to shoot her, but the gun misfired. In a rage, cops say Osbourne pistol whipped his wife, causing a skull fracture and a huge amount of blood loss.
Bonita told police Osbourne fled in his car, and she somehow managed to drag herself off the ground and to the road. She was treated for her injuries, then released. Bonita says she's lucky to have escaped with her life -- but wants to find Stanley Osbourne and bring him to justice. |
