Pregnant Teen Gunned Down |

Police in Gary, Indiana are trying to track down a convicted killer. In 1993, Frederick Edmond shot and killed a man after a heated argument. This time, cops say his temper flared out of control again.
Cops say the convicted felon got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend, Cher Steward, after she asked for his help moving. Then, according to officials, Edmond took matters into his own hands - literally. Cops say he grabbed a gun and started shooting, striking innocent Alexis Hamilton in the back, hip and breast. The 19-year-old pregnant woman died instantly.
Cops say Edmond took off. They searched his home and seized numerous weapons and drugs, but there was no sign of Edmond. |

Frederick Edmond is not a stranger to the criminal justice system. He served a five-year prison term for reckless homicide after he shot and killed a man in 1993. In 1996, Edmond was sentenced to two years in prison on a handgun violation.
