  Private Home Becomes Slaughter House
Cops say that on Tuesday, April 5th, 2005, they responded to a report of shots fired at a home on Alabama Street in Hobart, Indiana. Inside, they found a horror scene.  Three people face down in pools of blood, murdered execution-style.  Two more were in the back of the home, gravely injured. Police were left trying to piece together what-- and who--caused this bloodbath.

Three Men Storm Into Hobart Home, Guns Blazing
Agents say they've figured out how the attack went down, and it's all about three friends: Sajjad "JJ" Rasheed, Carl "D" Major and Kirby Oliver. They say the three men busted in to the home of David Williams, 23, and started firing two guns: a .22 caliber handgun and a .40 caliber handgun.  Police believe the men went there to get cash that "JJ" Rasheed told the others he was owed. Cops say that after entering the house, Rasheed, Major and Oliver killed 19-year-old Edward Espinoza, 19-year-old Brittney Hott and 20-year-old Lindsay Davidson, and continued through the home firing at two more people inside. 23-year-old David Williams, the owner of the home, and a fifth shooting victim, 22-year-old Darryl Mosley were sent to local hospitals, where they have been listed in critical condition.

According to cops, Rasheed has fled. Meanwhile, his friends Major and Oliver are being held without bond in the Lake County Jail. They have been cooperating with police.
