Police Issue AMBER Alert for Missing Teen |

Police in Plano, TX have issued an AMBER Alert for 17-year-old Shauna Lee Owens. Police say Owens disappeared after getting a call from her ex-boyfriend, James Vernon McCann, Monday night.
According to Owens' parents it would be out of character for her to take off and not come home, adding that they are frightened for her safety because they fear her ex-boyfriend.
McCann has reportedly made several threats against the family.
Owens is 5 feet tall and was last seen wearing jeans, a blue tank top and a red and white striped shirt. She has brown eyes and shoulder-length red hair.
Police believe McCann is traveling in a black 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier with a Texas license plate, R86-HRP. |
