  Case Story
  Where's the Beef?
On December 19, 2004, Toronto police say that 20 year-old Chas Berry, nicknamed "Beef" by his friends, and 23 year-old Andrew Christie ran into each other at the local mall.  Witnesses say the two men began arguing. Christie's car had been vandalized and he thought Berry was responsible.    Witnesses told police that the argument turned into a shouting match in the middle of the mall. At some point Christie and Berry got tired of yelling at each other and left, but the disagreement was far from being settled. According to police Christie returned to his apartment. Police say a few hours later, Christie ran into Berry in the hall.  Berry's sister also lived in Christie's building so it was just a matter of time before the two of them would cross paths again.  But apparently not enough time had elapsed from the fight in the mall. Police say that Christie's and Berry's adrenaline was still running wild and this time the two men took their disagreement to the next level.

  Spoiled Meat
Police say Berry pushed his way into Christie's apartment and began shooting.  Police say the first bullet grazed Christie's head.  Christie struggled for the gun, but was unsuccessful. Police say Berry then shot Christie, while he was laying on the floor, three more times in the head to make sure he was dead. Toronto police learned that after the shooting, Berry went to a friend's house and washed his hands of the crime he had just committed. He used vinegar on his hands, and changed his shoes. But one thing he cannot change is his well known nick name "Beef."  Toronto police consider Berry to be very dangerous.  Word on the street is Berry has no intentions of turning himself in.  Police say they need to find him before he can kill again.
