Cops:
"Outlaws" Leader Is Outlaw Fugitive |
|
| |
When authorities in Wisconsin moved in on the Outlaws motorcycle gang back in 1997, they were targeting an organization accused of a long and ugly list of crimes. Among the allegations against the bikers: murder, arson, possession and use of explosives, counterfeiting, robbery, burglary, vehicle theft and narcotics charges.
The police got everyone they were looking for, with one exception: the alleged leader of the gang, Randy Yager. Yager, who has been charged with criminal conspiracy, has been on the run ever since. He faces a possible life sentence when he finally goes down. |

Fugitive's Girlfriend Is Missing; Is She With Him? |
|
| |
Yager managed to avoid the law enforcement sweep of the Outlaws organization in June 1997 because of good timing. When the police made their move in Wisconsin, cops say Yager was visiting his girlfriend in Las Vegas.
The girlfriend, Margie Jelovcic, disappeared around the same time Yager vanished. Cops think they have been traveling together. Margie's family has filed a missing persons report. She hasn't been charged with any crimes, but obviously cops are anxious to speak with her. |

U.S. Marshals Kick It Up A Notch |
|
| |
Citing Yager's violent history and his ability to stay a step ahead of law enforcement, the U.S. Marshals named him to their 15 Most Wanted Fugitives List in December 2004.
Marshals hope the added notoriety will bring more attention to Yager's case, making it tougher for him to stay hidden.
