Missing 12 Year Old May Be With Convicted Sex Offender |

The Wakulla County Florida Sheriff's Office has issued an AMBER Alert for 12-year-old Briana Schultheis. That AMBER Alert has now been extended to the Atlanta area as well, where authorities now believe Briana may be.
Investigators say Briana's father had hired acquaintance Raymond Lewis to do odd jobs. They say Briana's mother learned Lewis was a registered sex offender and immediately fired him, but authorities believe Lewis and Briana formed some sort of relationship.
Briana's mother believed the girl was sleeping Sunday, but when she went to her bedroom to check on her, she found her missing. The window of Briana's room was open, and the girl, her backpack, some clothes and personal items were missing.
Authorities have released a surveillance tape of two people they believe to be Briana Schultheis and Lewis boarding a Greyhound bus in Tallahassee, Florida. That bus was headed for Atlanta. Now, tips have been coming in from the Atlanta area from people claiming to have seen the pair there.
The FBI and Florida Department of Law Enforcement are now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Briana's return and Lewis' arrest. |
