  Case Story
Alleged Steroid Salesman On The Run For 19 Years
U.S. Marshals have been after alleged drug pusher Enrique Enriquez for almost two decades.  Enriqez, a big-time body-builder and certified diver, is charged with distributing two kilograms of powder cocaine.  He pled guilty to one of two counts and was permitted to stay out on bond until the court date for his sentencing. Enriquez never showed up for his September 3, 1987 court date. Instead, cops say he fled to New York where he stayed for a brief period of time before moving to Florida where he worked as a certified personal trainer.  Marshals say Enriquez then relocated to California where they believe he worked for a marina and had to be rescued from a capsized boat in 1994.  Marshals are swimming through records to try to find information on who rescued him, which could prove to be a helpful tip.    The U.S. Marshals are trying to heat up this cold case because they are convinced Enriquez is either right here in the U.S. or in Puerto Rico.  Marshals say Enriquez is a dangerous fugitive, known to carry a gun in his gym bag, and they say he has been in fights over steroid sales at the various gyms.  He is also described by Marshals as a momma's boy who is quite quirky-- he was once known to ride a flourescent bicycle everywhere and is is very finicky about his meals (skinless breast of chicken and brown rice.)

Marshals Hope Age-Enhanced Sketch Will Help Bring Enriquez to Justice
U.S. Marshals recently updated Enriquez's 1987 photo, aging him up with the help of a forensic artist who created a couple of sketches showing a front and side view of what he might look like today in his mid forties. The forensic artist created the composites using old photos as well as photographs of Enriquez's relatives.
