Analyst for Warner Bros. Goes Missing |

When 30-year-old financial analyst Sharon Anne Santos didn't show up for work on Wednesday, August 18th, her coworkers at Warner Brothers studios knew there was reason for concern. Sharon had not called in, and also failed to show up the next day. At that point, her colleagues called police to report her disappearance.
Burbank Police were dispatched to her home on Thursday only to find the doors locked and no signs of foul play. However, Sharon had not been seen in more than 48 hours, and her family says she left behind several items that she would normally have taken with her. In fact, the only thing missing was her two-door black 1999 Honda Accord.
Authorities have few leads in the case. They do know that Sharon was last seen Tuesday night leaving her office on the Warner Brothers lot. Police do know that she made it to her home because they have phone records indicating that Sharon spoke with friends that evening from her home number. What happened next remains a mystery. Police say there was no indication that Sharon took a planned vacation or left town to visit anyone. Sharon is very close to her family and friends, but has not contacted any of them. She had recently moved to Burbank from the Long Beach area, as does not have any known enemies. |
