  Case Story
Polygamist Sect Slays "Non-Believers" In Murderous Raid
When Ervil LeBaron broke away from the Mormon Church, police say he began an extreme, polygamist sect that would be responsible for the murders of a cadre of "non-believers." The sect was called "The First Born Church Of The Lamb Of God" (CLG) and as the leader, Ervil preached the slaughter of anyone he deemed to be a sinner. However, when Ervil ordered the murder of rival polygamist leaders, he was convicted and imprisoned in 1972. The FBI says that while in jail, Ervil wrote 'The New Covenant,' a sort of bible for his followers, but in reality, cops believed it was a manual for murder. Ervil LeBaron died in prison in 1981, and the reins of the CLG went to two of his 54 children, Aaron and Jacqueline. Under their leadership, the CLG continued Ervil's teachings, using his final words as gospel.  With the help of their large, extended family, police say that they soon chose their first victims.

  A Synchronized Slaughter
Authorities say that on June 27, 1988, the CLG unleashed a synchronized string of murders against ex-CLG followers in Houston and Irving, Texas. The FBI alleges that members of the LeBaron family killed Ed Mareston and brothers, Mark and Duane Chynowith, for leaving the church and breaking CLG commandments. Also murdered was Duane's 8-year-old daughter, Jenny, who was a witness to her father's death. All four victims were killed within minutes of each other. Less than 24 hours later, four members of the LeBaron clan were in arrested, however, the alleged masterminds, Aaron and Jacqueline remained at large. When America's Most Wanted profiled Aaron and Jacqueline LeBaron back in 1995, Aaron was behind bars only a few months later. Eventually, four more LeBaron family members were arrested in the murders. Only Jacqueline Tarsa Lebaron remained on the run, and authorities have been trying to track her down for years. According to the FBI, one of the LeBarons said that there was once a plan to meet up with Jacqueline in Mexico, where it is believed she is hiding out. No one from the imprisoned Le Baron clan claims to know anything about Jacqueline's whereabouts. Cops believe that Jacqueline Tarsa LeBaron is in Mexico, where the LeBarons have several colonies. The FBI says that LeBaron was born in Mexico and may be using her language skills to teach English to wealthy Mexican families.

  A New Picture Emerges
She was last seen in Aguas Calientes. Jacqueline LeBaron speaks with a high, squeaky voice, is known to wear disguises, and is considered armed and extremely dangerous. For years, agents knew this international manhunt would be a tough one. But that search took a huge step forward when they received a picture from someone who'd come in contact with LeBaron. This picture was taken in Honduras in 2007. Unfortunately, agents do not believe she is still in Honduras.
