  Case Story
  Hollywood's Lucky Streak
Phillip "Hollywood" Williams is no stranger to handcuffs -- he's been arrested 41 times. But the charges never stuck. And Hollywood's good luck became the deadly misfortune of a woman in New Mexico named Josephine Chacon, a single mother of two teenagers. Josephine worked at the Old Sandia casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a cashier. She met a lot of people there -- but friends say only one was able to woo her. Cops say the casino was where she first met Williams, a high roller craps player who frequented the place. Friends say Williams swept Josephine off her feet, and for awhile, things were going well between the pair. They even moved in together. But eventually, Williams' true nature began to surface -- and Josephine slowly began to realize the man she loved was not who he claimed to be. Many nights, Josephine found herself alone, wondering where Williams had gone. There were even nights Williams wouldn't come home at all. When Josephine would question Williams, his stories didn't add up. Though Josephine had begun to suspect Williams was a bad seed, cops say there's no way she could have known who Williams really was.

  The Man Behind The Lies
According to cops, the real Phillip Williams is a violent, crack-smoking rapist and murderer. The charges on Williams' astounding arrest record range from pandering to rape and murder. In nearly every case, the alleged victims were prostitutes or homeless women, and they failed to show up to testify against him. Cops say Williams got away with many of his crimes -- and shouldn't have been on the streets in the first place when he met Josephine. Cops knew what Williams was capable of all along -- they'd been trying to find a way to lock him up for years. But for Josephine, it was too late by the time she found out the truth. On August 5, 2003, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Josephine was getting off work at the casino. She and Tiffany, another casino worker, took the casino shuttle to the parking lot, and had just split ways when Tiffany says she heard screams of desperation coming from nearby. Tiffany looked back, and was horrified by what she saw -- Josephine, slumped over the back of a car, covered in blood. Tiffany called 9-1-1 for help, but sadly, Josephine died on her way to the hospital. She had been stabbed at least 18 times in her neck, chest, and arms. Though there were shuttle drivers and casino employees in the parking lot at the time of Josephine's murder, cops say no one seemed to have seen her killer. But cops say they know perfectly well who is responsible for this heinous crime and they didn't give up trying to find him until they put him behind bars once again.

  Evidence Points To Williams
Cops found two bloody finger prints on Josephine's driver's side car door window -- and cops say they have positively identified them as Williams'. When investigators tracked Williams' cell phone use, they were caught off guard to find another person in possession of Williams' phone -- but when the man showed cops where he'd found the cellular device, they also found a bloody knife and jacket. Cops say the knife had Williams' prints on it -- and Josephine's blood. Police also believe they've discovered Williams' motive -- they say Cops say he murdered Josephine to get back at her for breaking up with him. When they searched Williams' home, it was in complete disarray. Clothes were strewn everywhere, the lights were still on, and he had left a letter from Josephine on his dresser.
