Alleged Killer Of A Young Ohio Woman Caught On Tape |

On the morning of April 26, 1999, firefighters in Columbus, Ohio discovered the body of 25-year-old Jana Eyster. An autopsy later determined that she died after being shot in the head. Police believe that the fire had been set to cover up the murder. Her car was discovered a block away from her apartment building and had traces of her blood in the trunk.
Jana had just moved in to the apartment after graduating from Ohio State University. She had recently begun working as a corrections officer at the Ohio Medical Corrections Center.
Cops say that a surveillance videotape shot one hour before the fire at a local gas station less than a mile from Jana's apartment shows a man buying a gas can similar to the one found in the dumpster behind the building.
Police say the man in the surveillance photo is Kenneth Tucker. |

>Kenneth Marquise Tucker was previously featured on the amw.com website for a number of charges related to and including armed robbery in Pennsylvania.
Cops say that on March 2, 1999 at approximately 1:35pm, Tucker entered the First National Bank of Malvern, pulled out a black semi-automatic pistol and stole approximately $4,140.
Police say he then led authorities on a high-speed chase in a stolen car, which flipped three times during the pursuit. Tucker escaped, ran across four lanes of traffic and was hit by an oncoming car. Tucker disappeared near the Philadelphia area and continues to elude authoriites.
In addition to the armed robbery, cops say Tucker is wanted by eight other townships for purse snatching and other related crimes.] |
