Deputies with the U.S Marshals Service say Paul "Rocky" Stone has a history of molesting young boys in the Madison, Wisconsin area. It dates back to the mid-1960's. They say his M-O is to target 12-15 year old boys, usually from single parent homes. Stone allegedly befriends them and takes them fishing, skiing, and snowboarding. The USMS says Stone takes Polaroid photos of boys, clothed at first, claiming he is recording for growth. By the third or fourth meeting with the boys, Stone allegedly gives the children LSD and sexually assaults them. Marshals say Stone has photographed the boys engaged in various sexual acts.
The Marshals' investigation led them to Stone's residence in June 1996. Inside his home they found a box full of Polaroid photos of young boys, semi and fully nude. Police have identified three boys but they believe there are at least 25 unidentified victims in those seized photographs.
Stone was charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of possession with intent to deliver LSD. He was released from custody after a family member posted $8,000 cash bail. Stone failed to show up for his jury trial on November 18, 1996. He has been a fugitive ever since. Marshals fear he may still be molesting other boys wherever he is. |
