Ann Kibalo is wanted for doing the unthinkable: kidnapping her own daughter. Now, Mike Kibalo wants only to see his daughter again.
It was February 2001 and Ann Kibalo had a scheduled, court-ordered visit with her 2-year-old daughter, Samantha. Mike Kibalo hoped the visit would go as smoothly as all the visits in the past had.
His hopes were dashed on February 3, 2001, when Ann failed to show up at the pre-planned meeting site to return Samantha to him. For seven years Mike has searched for Samantha. She is nine now and Mike knows she looks much different than she did when he last saw her.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has created an age-enhanced photo of Samantha, and authorities in Rockland County, N.Y. hope it will finally help bring Samantha home to her father. |

There are several major clues in this case: police say Ann has a rare red-haired Tibetan Spaniel traveling with her. The dog's name is Vodka.
Police know that Ann loved the dog and wouldn't leave the 12-pound pooch behind. Additionally, Ann could be seeking medical and dental attention from several different practitioners for different ailments. In the past, Ann has worked as a bookkeeper, and she wears glasses while driving.
Over the years, police have tracked down tips in Santa Fe, N.M. and Denver, Colo. Now, they want your help to find Ann and Samantha once and for all. |
