Man Wanted In Pennsylvania For Torturing Teenage Girl |
|
| |
In March 1996, 13-year-old Richezza Williams ran away from her home in Long Island, N.Y. Five months later, her badly decomposed body was found in an abandoned tomb in Easton, Pa.
Police say on July 28, 1996, Richezza was tortured and murdered by three men in the home of Kathy Sagusti. According to Kathy, the three men responsible for Richezza's death were Cory Maeweather, Kwame Henry and Stanley Obas.
After the murder, the three men allegedly put Richezza's body in a box, carried it to a nearby cemetery and hid it in a tomb. A piece of chewing gum belonging to Maeweather was found in the tomb. That piece of evidence, along with a confession from Maeweather himself, helped convict him of murder. Maeweather is currently serving a life sentence.
Henry was arrested in 1998, convicted and is also serving a life sentence. Stanley Obas, the last man charged with Richezza's murder, is still on the loose. |
