Being A "Big Brother" |

Tim Brown has always loved to make home videos. He's always either in front of, or behind the camera. But, in 1999, Brown developed a new interest. He decided to join the Salt Lake City chapter of the Big Brothers Program of America and become a mentor to a child in need. "Big Brother Tim" was matched with a "little brother, " a ten-year-old boy who was being raised by his aunt. |

Good Intentions Gone Bad |

Police say Brown used his generosity to seduce the boy. In December of 2000, Brown's sick schemes began unraveling. The boy's aunt became suspicious after he returned home from a sleep-over and made a comment about being in Big Brother Tim's bed. Alarmed, she called the Big Brothers/Big Sisters agency and the police, who immediately launched an investigation.
On Jaunary 2, 2000, Brown was indicted on multiple counts of child abuse. But, Brown had already fled Salt Lake City. Brown must have left in a hurry because when detectives executed a search warrant on Brown's empty apartment, the found some very incriminating evidence: tons of video tape, including sexually explicit ones Brown made with his young victim, four comptuer cd-rom's full of child pornography. But, the police found something they weren't really looking for - a mock America's Most Wanted Brown left on his computer with his face on it! |

And Tim Brown's no stranger to handcuffs. As it turns out, "Big Brother Tim" was an ex-convict who was arrested six times between 1985 and 1990 for charges ranging from burglary to marijuana possession and credit card fraud. But, Brown hasn't been seen since December of 2000, and police need your help to track him down. |
