Police: Playboy Commits Murder |
|
| |
Las Vegas Police are searching for a man whose schemes for fame and fortune just never seem to pan out. They say Eugene "Geno" Linder has repeatedly tried to break into the entertainment business-- and failed each time. But cops say he was able to follow through on one thing--they said he murdered his girlfriend, 34-year-old Devi Lynn Ives.
On September 2, 1997, Devi disappeared. For five days, the search was on for the divorced mother. Five days later, Devi's body was found partialy buried in the desert outside Las Vegas.
Cops turned their investigation on Linder-- the man Devi began dating a couple of weeks before her disappearance. Cops say the couple met at a beauty salon they both frequented, and started dating after he offered to help get Devi's Mercedez Benz repaired.
Cops say Linder fled, and hasn't been seen since. |
