  Case Story
  Suspicious Car Discovered At K-Mart
The horror in Smyrna, Tennessee, began with a strange 9-1-1 call in the middle of the night. It was 2 a.m. and a trash truck driver had spotted a suspicious car behind the Big K-Mart. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the young man was not passed out; he was dead. Eighteen-year-old Troy Snell had one bullet in his head. In the back of Troy's car, detectives found a Captain D's t-shirt. Captain D's was the restaurant where Troy worked, and it was just around the corner from the crime scene.

  Murder At Tennessee Captain D's
Meanwhile, at the restaurant, Mike Sulley, an exterminator, was busy at work. Inside the cooler, he made a startling discovery - two bodies. Forty-two-year-old Scott Myers and twenty-nine-year-old Bryan Speight, both managers at the restaurant, were found dead, killed execution-style with one bullet to the head. Detectives were able to piece together what happened that night minute-by-minute. By 10:15, police say the restaurant was closed, and the three men were cleaning up. Detectives were able to spot Scott Myers buying cigarettes at the BP gas station next door. Seven minutes later at 11:13, Troy Snell also purchased cigarettes at the gas station. After buying their cigarettes, Scott and Troy both returned to the restaurant. Soon after, a witness drove up and spotted a black male wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt walking around behind the Captain D's. According to detectives, Troy clocked out from the register at the front of the store at 12:06. He then walked out the front door.

  Witnesses Spot Susupicious Suspects
Officials believe one of the killers walked in shortly after Troy walked out and found Bryan and Scott in the back of the restaurant, corralled them into the cooler, emptied the cash register, and then cold-bloodedly shot Bryan and Scott. At the same time, police say someone forced Troy to the back of the Big K-Mart and killed him. At almost the exact same time, police say, a second witness was driving around the Shoney's next door and saw someone else inside the Captain D's - a black female carrying a dark knapsack. So far, police have no clues as to identity or location of the cold blooded murderers.
