Joe East is wanted by the Philadelphia Police Department for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, 20-year-old Tamara Parrish. Brother, Sister Witness Murder |
|
| |
On the night of June 3, 1994, police say East repeatedly called the Parrish family residence using the pretense that he needed to borrow money from Tamara. Then, around midnight, police say East showed up at Tamara's home. Tamika, Tamara's sister, answered the door, and she gave him the money he supposedly needed. But, police say, he wouldn't leave; he wanted to see Tamara. According to officials, Tamika tried to close the door, but East pushed his way in and headed upstairs to Tamara's bedroom. Police say Tamara walked East back downstairs and tried to push him out the door. He got angry, and police say shot Tamara three times, point blank in the chest. Sadly, Tamara's brother and sister witnessed their sibling's murder.
Joe East fled Philadelphia and the police have no leads as to his whereabouts. |
